The Day That Nanay Went Away

Nanay passed away today. She was 86. She was my Mama's mom.

I would always remember her laugh, how she loved playing fourty-one and how I used to tease her if she is going to marry again ever since Tatay passed away. I always teased her for being so jologs! I would always remember how she loved my dogs, and how Creamy would kiss her in the face when she tells him to kiss her. I remember how she spoiled them rotten. Goodbye my Nanay, see you on the other side. I imagine you walking hand in hand with Tatay now. May you rest in peace. I will miss you forever.

The Saturday Before Christmas

As the title says, yes, it is the Saturday before Christmas. I woke up late today, this probably is my longest sleep in months. I had been working late hours at work, keeping myself distracted and good thing my body took the hint. I crashed last night. Things are looking up. There's sunshine outside which is pretty rare lately and I decided to take my lensbaby out for some photos. This one is my favorite for the day.

Welcome To My 2010

I had always wanted to make a 365 photo blog but for some reason, it never happened. One day, I bought a Lensbaby Muse on an impulse and figured that this will be the perfect time to start a project, with the new year coming. My camera had also been sitting idle for a few weeks now and I want to put it to good use. I still lack inspiration though. I am going to start on January 1 though so for now I'm posting random pictures while still trying to learn how to use my lens. I always do things on an impulse, and I do hope to be able to sustain this sudden impulse of doing a 365 days of posts.
